Frequently Asked Questions
When I am entering data in a draft report, I cannot find the names of some Massachusetts communities in the City/Town dropdown lists.  Why?

In order to optimize the performance of the Web Reporter application, the City/Town dropdown lists were programmed to include only the 351 official names of the cities and towns in Massachusetts.  If you are entering address information that contains a village, neighborhood or other community name not found on the City/Town list, you can use the Village Name Resolver to look up the official city or town name associated with that community.  Click here to download the Village Name Resolver.

(The Village Name Resolver is a Microsoft Excel file.  You must have Microsoft Excel, or a compatible application, installed on your PC to view this file.)

When I click on a link on the navigation bar nothing happens.  What's wrong?

Some web browsers are set to cache frequently visited web pages for faster loading and viewing on subsequent visits.  To fix this problem, you need to set you web browser to check for newer versions of stored pages automatically.
