FY2013-16: Mid-Year FY2013 Capital (Fixed) Asset Inventory Review 
CTR Memo FY2013-16 has been posted to the CTR Web Portal. The memo serves as notice that mid-year inventory of GAAP Capital Assets is underway.  Several MMARS reports can be accessed through DocDirect to assist with this effort.  Every department must return a form confirming the review is complete.

FY2013-15: Late Penalty Interest Rate
CTR Memo FY2013-15 has been posted to the CTR Web Portal. This memo advises departments as to the late penalty interest rate for January 1, 2013 – June 30, 2013.

Periodic Allotment
On or about Tuesday, January 22, the Executive Office for Administration and Finance will process the sixth periodic allotment of FY2013 to increase the expenditure ceiling in budgetary accounts to 66.67% (a one-month allotment).

The next scheduled periodic allotment will be on or about February 19. Agency staff are asked to make ANF budget analysts aware of any requested ad hoc allotments as soon as possible to ensure that it can be reviewed by ANF staff in a timely fashion.

MMARS Saturday and Holiday Hours
MMARS and LCM will be available Saturday January 19, from 9:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. The Help Desk will not be staffed and any Saturday Help Desk calls will be returned on Tuesday, January 22.

MMARS and LCM will be available on Martin Luther King Day, Monday January 21, from 7 A.M. - 7 P.M. A normal LCM cycle, but no financial cycle will be run. The Help Desk will not be staffed and any holiday Help Desk calls will be returned on Tuesday, January 22.

Weekly Fraud Awareness and Prevention Fact – Uniform Occupational Fraud Classification System
Fraud schemes are categorized under the three main categories of Fraud (Asset Misappropriation, Corruption, and Fraudulent Statements and Reporting) in the Uniform Occupational Fraud Classification System. The classification system is widely available online and can be found at the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners’ (ACFE) website, on p.10 of their “Report to the Nation on Occupational Fraud and Abuse ”.
