The Office of the Comptroller (CTR) has launched a new Intranet website called PartnerNet. PartnerNet is accessible to users within MAGNet or through VPN. This new website is designed to share both secure and large files that should not be passed through e-mail, as well as CTR applications.
PartnerNet is the vehicle the Office of the Comptroller will use to share information with departments in MAGNet (the Massachusetts Government Network). Individuals with a User ID (UAID) and direct or VPN access to the state network can access PartnerNet. Some components will be available to all employees and others will be restricted to certain departments or specific individuals.
Employees with a UAID for an enterprise system (CIW, HR/CMS and MMARS) have been granted access to components that are available to every user as well as to department specific sections. Where data sensitivity and/or specific user certifications are involved, individual employee security will be invoked.
PartnerNet will also facilitate access to future CTR web applications. The initial implementation will provide access to VendorWeb information by vendor name or vendor code rather than invoking the tighter security on the current portal version. This will assist program as well as finance staff by allowing users to be self-sufficient in obtaining payment information.
