|Re:||Comptroller Office's FY2011 MMARS Chargeback|
This memo provides guidance and information regarding the Office of the Comptroller's MMARS chargeback for FY2011 to support the operation of the financial accounting and reporting system for the Commonwealth.
This chargeback was established to cover the cost of the resources needed to support the operation of the Massachusetts Management and Reporting System (MMARS) for the Commonwealth.
This chargeback is based on an agency's share of usage of MMARS, determined by actual transaction lines posted to the general ledger. Agencies are charged a proportional share of the authorized chargeback based on their usage. The FY2011 chargeback will be billed at $2,622,526.00.
An IE (CTRMMARSCHARGEFY2011) will be established by close of business Friday, August 6th, for your FY2011 estimated bill based on FY2010 actual transaction counts. IEs will be reviewed quarterly and adjusted accordingly.
As in previous years, bi-monthly bills will be issued and agencies will be notified via e-mail. The document ID standard for FY2011 will be CTRMMARS11CHAR and an abbreviation of the months represented in the billing.
The spreadsheet attachment to this memo details your FY2010 final bill which shows the FY2010 actual transaction count based on 12 months of actual usage, the final FY2010 proportional share, and an FY2011 estimate based on FY2010 actual usage.
Please forward this memo to the appropriate staff at your agency. If you have any questions, contact Cliff Burke at 617-973-2669 or Lauren Johnson at 617-973-2630.
