FY2011-29: FY2011 Higher Education Audit Guidance (issued 7/13/2011)

The purpose of this memo is to advise Institutions of Higher Education as to auditing and reporting guidance for FY2011.

This guide updates the existing Higher Education Guidance previously issued in 2010. It is meant to complement the Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Statement 35 and Statement 39 reporting requirements. We have also incorporated the capital (fixed) assets guidance. This guide reinforces policies on required documentation with regard to the Commonwealth's issuance of its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).

• Attachment B  " Draft Reconciliation of Financial Statements to MMARS"
