Executive Summary
This memo announces a Competitive Grant/ISA Program for the Funding of Auditors or Program Integrity Infrastructure.
Pursuant to Chapter 139 of the Acts of 2012, the Office of the Comptroller (CTR) is charged with managing a reserve to fund a competitive grant /ISA program. A total of $735,000 is available. CTR is seeking Responses from state departments seeking funds on a one-time, non-recurring basis for the funding of auditors or program integrity infrastructure.
Funds shall be awarded to state entities that are most likely to generate savings or revenue from enhanced auditing or program integrity greater than the award received. It is anticipated that there will be between 2 and 4 grant awards for the Program. The Comptroller may choose to award fewer or greater awards depending upon the requests made and the demonstration of the likelihood of success generating savings or revenue. Notice of this Competitive Grant Award is being sent to Department Chief Fiscal Officers and Department Heads and the documents are posted on the Quality Assurance Business Functions page.
