As required by Mass. General Law, the Office of the Comptroller is submitting this report on the Competitive Grant/ISA Program for the Funding of Auditors or Program Integrity Infrastructure to the House and Senate Committees on Ways & Means. Pursuant to Chapter 139 of the Acts of 2012, the Office of the Comptroller (CTR) is charged with managing a reserve to fund a competitive grant /ISA program on a one-time, non-recurring basis for the funding of auditors or program integrity infrastructure. Funds were awarded to state entities that “…best demonstrate the opportunity to maximize overpayment recoupment, savings or other cost recoveries…”
There were two grants awarded:
- Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA)– $475,200
- Information Technology Division (ITD) - $252,450
