As required by Section 2 Chapter 27 of the Acts of 2009, the Office of the Comptroller is submitting this second quarter BFY 2010, as of December 31, 2009, report on “Settlements and Judgments” to the House and Senate Committees on Ways and Means.
The attached report contains information regarding payments, by department, of settlements and judgments from appropriation account 1599-3384 and court monitor costs in compliance with the terms of the Rolland settlement agreement from appropriation account 1599-1030. The total spent for the second quarter of BFY 2010, from 1599-3384 was $4,997,171. The total spent for the second quarter of BFY 2010, from 1599-1030, was $293,600.
In summary:
In BFY 2010, $7,500,000 was appropriated to the settlement and judgment account (1599-3384). A total of $4,997,171 was spent in the second quarter.
