On October 4, 2011, the Attorney General and Department of Revenue jointly certified to the State Comptroller that for the three month period ending September 30, 2011, individual tax related settlements and judgments exceeding $10 million totaled $71,347,156. Therefore, pursuant to section 2H of Chapter 29 of the Massachusetts General Laws, as most recently amended by section 37 of Chapter 68 of the Acts of 2011, I hereby inform you that I will be transferring $71,347,156 to the Commonwealth Stabilization Fund.
