Fleet Investment Advisors manages all of the Athol Retirement Board’s portfolio assets. Because of the small size of the assets involved, the manager and the board agree that it is more efficient to achieve the desired allocation to small cap stocks within the equity portion by investing in Fleet’s small cap pooled fund rather than purchasing individual stocks. Therefore, under Investment Guideline 99-2, the Board is authorized to invest in the Galaxy Small Company Equity mutual fund. |
