The State Data Center (SDC) Program is one of the Census Bureau's longest and most successful partnerships. It is a cooperative program between the states and the Census Bureau that was created in 1978 to make data available locally to the public through a network of state agencies, universities, libraries, and regional and local governments.

Maps from the Mass. Office of Geographical Information (MassGIS)

MassGIS is the Commonwealth's Office of Geographic Information. Through MassGIS, the Commonwealth has created a comprehensive statewide database of geospatial information. Here you can view maps online, including water supply protection areas, DEP Title 5 setback areas, coastal public access sites, wetlands, legislative districts and demographics, real property sales, and much more. You can also download free data, and order maps on paper or CD.

This is a draft map of broadband map displays services available as of June 30, 2011 - including cable, DSL, fiber optic and fixed and mobile wireless services - but not including statewide satellite coverage. Service area boundaries were acquired from 29 service providers and modified based on feedback from communities, but have not yet been verified by other sources and should be used as an estimate only.
