Planning to take public transportation in Massachusetts and need to find somewhere to leave your car? Whether traveling by plane, train, boat, bus, or subway, there’s a lot to suit your needs. Paid, off-street parking is available at Logan Airport and Cruiseport Boston, subway and commuter rail stations, as well as Park and Ride Lots for those who carpool or take a commuter bus.

Logan Airport Parking

For those flying into or out of Boston, Logan Airport has multiple parking options: the Terminal B Garage, the Terminal E Lots, the Central Parking Garage, and the most affordable long-term option, the Economy Parking Lot, which offers free shuttle service to all terminals. All Logan parking areas have hourly and daily rates, and some spaces are reserved for hybrid/alternative fuel vehicles. Accessibility parking with a valid disabled parking placard is available in all garages, even when the “Full” sign is displayed. Curbside Parking is not allowed at any terminal.

Subscribe for email updates on open parking options or check real-time parking conditions, and please keep in mind that parking conditions may change quickly. When approaching the airport, tune in to Logan Radio 1650 AM for current parking information.

When leaving, pay at an Exit Express parking pay station in the terminal, walkway, or garage lobby areas before returning to your car to expedite your exit. Cash and credit cards are accepted. If time is truly of the essence, enroll in the Parking PASSport program and pay for parking with a wave of your hand; parking fees are charged to a credit card on file, and a receipt is emailed within 24 hours.

Frequent fliers interested in guaranteed parking may want to enroll in Boston Logan International Airport's Parking PASSport Gold program, which provides reserved parking in designated areas of Central Parking on Level 3, and in the Terminal B Garage on Levels 2 and 4 even if garage signs indicate they are full.

Parking representatives are available via phone 24-hours a day at (617) 561-1673, or during regular business hours at (800) 23-LOGAN.

Worcester Airport Parking and Hanscom Airport Parking

Worcester Regional Airport parking is located in front of the terminal. There is no fee for parking less than 24 hours, and rates for long-term parking are $7 per day or $42 per week. Cash and credit cards are accepted. Accessibility parking with a valid disabled parking placard is also available. To pay for overnight parking in an accessible spot, contact an on-duty officer after parking for the mail-in parking fee form.

Hanscom Field airport parking is free and is located outside Hanscom’s Civil Air Terminal.

MBTA/Commuter Rail Lot Parking

Riding the “T” or the commuter rail? MBTA customers may park at MBTA parking facilities; rates range from $4 to $7 per day, depending on the lot. If the full parking fee is not paid in advance, a $1 surcharge will be added. Failure to pay the full parking fee and the $1 surcharge within three calendar days will incur an additional $20 surcharge. Follow the instructions on the back of the nonpayment violation to make the payment. To pay for your parking ticket online, there is an additional $3.50 surcharge per violation.

Overnight parking, with a seven-day maximum, is available at some facilities with a special overnight rate. Vehicles left for more than seven days may be reported to MBTA Transit Police and may be towed; after thirty days, a vehicle is considered "abandoned" and will be towed at the owner's expense. Contact the MBTA Transit Police at (617) 222-1212 for information on towed vehicles.

Register here for monthly parking permits to save $10 a month versus daily parking rates. Customers also have pay-by-phone options via Parkmobile, and credit cards are accepted at pay-on-foot garage pay stations.
