Stimulus-funded OpenCape broadband initiative preparing to launchOpenCape, the stimulus-funded broadband initiative for southeastern Massachusetts, is working on the network's design, leasing poles and getting ready to bid construction of the network. The initiative received $32 million in stimulus funds and according to OpenCape President Dan Gallagher 400 jobs can be expected to be created. Read more.

The 25-year old agency serves over 11,000 people a year and it is two stimulus grants that are helping them continue in their mission and help them do it better. Read more.
