Stimulus Funds to Support Training in Healthcare Jobs

Over $3.2 million in stimulus grants will support healthcare workforce development partnerships that will help Massachusetts residents advance in healthcare careers. One out of every seven jobs in the Commonwealth is in the healthcare field.











Community Health Connections Gets Stimulus Money to Expand

Thanks to a $10.7 million stimulus grant, Community Health Connections, a community health center in Fitchburg, is moving forward with its plans to build a new health center on the Burbank campus of the HealthAlliance Hospital. The project will include renovating a 17,000-sf building on the hospital campus and building a 25,000-sf health care building. Read more.
