Opportunities for Individuals: Find a Job using JobQuest
Employers who create jobs using Recovery funding must post those job announcements to the Commonwealth's JobQuest system. A wide range of stimulus-related positions--ranging from career counselors to communication specialists are available. This system is constantly updated, so residents should check back for new opportunities.

Opportunities For Businesses: Search for Contracts
For the most up to date ARRA business opportunities , head to Comm-PASS, the Commonwealth's sole online procurement record site which supports all bid and grant records related to any ARRA funds distributed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Comm-PASS is available for use free of charge and provides you with the ability to search for a variety of contracts by either category or department.
Opportunities for Municipalities: Energy GrantsĀ
Two Federal grant programs funded by ARRA are rapidly approaching application deadlines. Communities meeting the September 3rd application deadline for the Community Renewable Energy Deployment (CRED) program will compete for up to four grants from a total of $21,450,000 in available funding to support widespread deployment of renewable energy installations throughout communities on a sustained basis. Applicants to the Local Energy Assurance Planning (LEAP Initiative) have until October 8 to apply for funds to be used by cities to develop new, or refine existing, plans to integrate new energy portfolios (renewables, biofuels, etc) and new applications, such as Smart Grid technology, into energy assurance and emergency preparedness plans.

Over $200 million of ARRA funding has been awarded to support community services, weatherization, lead hazard abatement, low income housing, and infrastructure development. The award lists indicate the communities, grant amounts, and activities to be funded.
