Home Appliance Rebate Program Starts April 22

The stimulus-funded energy efficient appliance rebate program will launch in Massachusetts on April 22. The Recovery Act allocated $6.2 million to the Commonwealth to administer the rebate program, which is designed to spur household energy savings by taking high energy-consuming home appliances out of commission and replacing them with qualified ENERGY STAR models.




$72.5 Mil in Stimulus Funds for Transit Improvements

The Commonwealth was awarded $72.5 million in stimulus funding for numerous transit improvements, including two much-needed MBTA Red Line projects at busy stations in Quincy and Braintree. Read more.
