Welcome to the electronic Registry of Motor Vehicles. This web site was developed to conveniently link you to most of the customer services that the agency offers in 35 brick-and- mortar branches around the state and through our telephone and mail center. The RMV was the first registry in the country to offer on line transactions for our 5.9 million customers and we are constantly updating and adding new internet services. I think you will find that our transaction and inquiry services are quick and easy to use.

We have worked hard to provide the public access to a wide range of information--from the history of the Commonwealth's license plate to the latest legislative changes that impact teenage drivers.

We welcome and encourage you to make suggestions on how to improve the site and how we can be as responsive as possible to your concerns.
