The Cure Breast Cancer license plate was issued in October 2006 - National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and was personally designed by Deb McNeill, a breast cancer survivor. The plate honors the late Diane Connolly-Zaniboni and so many others that have lost their battle with breast cancer. The pink ribbon with the word "Cure" serves as a symbol of hope, strength and support to those currently suffering from the disease. Plate proceeds fund The Diane Connolly-Zaniboni Breast Cancer Research Fund at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
