The Registry of Motor Vehicles announced today that they will be conducting road tests five days per week at the Haverhill Police Department Substation, located at 333-335 Washington Street, beginning the week of February 28th. Road tests are currently offered only on Wednesdays and Fridays at Haverhill High School.
"This is great news for the City of Haverhill and its surrounding communities," said Registrar Dan Grabauskas. "These new expanded hours go along with our efforts at improving services at the RMV for customers in Haverhill and across the state. A special thanks to Mayor Rurak and Haverhill Police Chief Barone for offering this new space to the RMV."
On January 28th, the Registry opened a full service branch at Haverhill City Hall. Since its opening, the new branch has served approximately 1,000 customers each week.
Customers can call the Registry at 1-800-858-3926 to schedule a road test.
