Registry/Salvation Army Toy Drive a Success
More than 6,500 toys donated statewide
The second annual Registry of Motor Vehicles/Salvation Army Toy Drive was an astounding success, bringing in more than 6,500 toys for needy families in Massachusetts.
Thanks to the generosity of RMV customers and employees, the toy drive easily topped last year's record donation of 2,400 toys.
The drive ran from November 27 to December 14 at the Registry's 35 locations. The Lawrence branch raised the most toys-1,415-followed by the Registry's New Bedford and Fall River locations. |
