Hot Dogging it for a Good Cause

Now
in its 19th year, Eddie Andelman's Hot Dog Safari drew thousands of people
to Suffolk Downs yesterday for the annual event, benefiting the Cystic
Fibrosis Foundation and the Joey Fund. Over 100,000 dogs were served, and
guests included Boston Culinary CEO Joe O'Donnell, Attorney General Martha
Coakley, Mayor Tom Menino, state auditor
Joe DeNucci, Sports Illustrated scribe Frank Deford, competitive
eater Crazy Legs Conti, and the event's grand marshal, Pats running back
Kevin Faulk.
