Privatization Reports
The OSA has specific responsibilities relative to the privatization process as established by Chapter 296 of the Acts of 1993, "An Act Further Regulating the Purchase of State Services." Under this new statute, the State Auditor has 30 business days to determine whether agency proposals to privatize a service currently performed by state employees meet legal requirements.
