06/11/2008 Presidential Proclamation Presented To Massachusetts Asian American Commission
Month long celebrations of the Asian American Heritage Month , which is the month of May were topped off by the reading and presentation of President Bush's proclomation declaring May to be Asian Pacific American Heritage Month at the State House. The proclamation was obtained and presented by Kumu Gupta, who is on the Advisory Board of the Asian American Commission of the Commonwealth, to Tackey Chan, Vice Chair of the Commission filling in for Neelam Wali, Chair of AAC, who could not be present.
