Investor Information Sources

The Debt Management Department of the State Treasurer's Office is committed to providing investors with extensive program and other information on outstanding Commonwealth of Massachusetts debt obligations, as well as timely information on specific new issues as the Commonwealth prepares to come to market to sell bonds. We want to ensure that investors have easy access to offering documents on Commonwealth of Massachusetts bonds/notes, as well as archived disclosure documents and other material. Therefore, we have a number of channels available to investors by which they can obtain more information on Commonwealth debt obligations either through electronic methods or by contacting Debt Management representatives during business hours.


Information on outstanding Commonwealth bonds or notes may be accessed through the following:

  • Investor toll-free line 800-535-1144. Debt Management representatives will assist investors with any questions regarding Commonwealth of Massachusetts debt obligations or general information requests they may have. This line is open from 8:45 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. EST on all U.S. business days.

  • Email at massbondholder@tre.state.ma.us. Debt Management representatives will respond promptly to any investor inquiry regarding its debt obligations or information requests during official business hours.

  • The Debt Management web site provides investors with access to information on the Commonwealth's bond programs. Investors can also access Commonwealth financial information on this web site or through links to other sites provided on the Debt Management web site, including links to the Office of the State Comptroller for annual audits, links to the Legislature for information on state appropriation bills and general legislation, and links to the Administration's capital plans.
