Welcome to the new website of the Debt Management department, a finance department within the Office of the Massachusetts State Treasurer & Receiver-General.

These pages will provide general information on the process through which the Commonwealth borrows money, including details on the state's outstanding debt obligations. Summaries of recent transactions, notices of future bond sales, and other reports on the state's debt management operations will be made available as well.

It is our goal to use this website to enhance the transparency of the Treasury's Debt Management operations, to communicate useful information on the state's borrowing programs to Massachusetts taxpayers, and to enhance disclosure to investors who may own Commonwealth bonds.
