Train the Trainer: Financial Education is a program implemented by the Financial Literacy Trust Fund to train non-profit direct service professionals to better help their participants with financial literacy.

The training began in Fall of 2012 with two days of in class, interactive learning in the cities of New Bedford, Worcester and Springfield. After the initial two days of in class training, the direct service professionals then participated in a series of webinars. The goal was to impart new skills and to follow through in helping direct service professionals bring those skills to life in their work.

The knowledge direct service professionals gained was then passed on to their colleagues. Through this method, skills needed to effectively teach adults financial education can be shared with a high number of providers. We are continuing to share that knowledge by granting free access to our financial education webinars below. Please feel free to utilize the information found in the webinars and pass on these free resources to others.
