Dial-a-Lawyer
Date: First Monday of the Month, 5:30-7:30 PM
Phone number: 617-338-0610. Since March of 1991, the Mass Bar Association has sponsored a monthly Dial-A-Lawyer program that encourages members of the public to call with their legal problems and questions. This program was created in order to assist the people of Massachusetts who have fallen through the cracks of the legal and criminal justice system. The phones tend to be extremely busy during that two hour time period so please keep trying to get through.

Yoga for Veterans and Spouses
Day and Time: Thursdays, 1:10-1:50 PM
Location: Chapel, 3 rd Floor, E Wing of the Jamaica Plain VA Hospital (150 S. Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA). This free class is offered for veterans and their spouses. The health benefits of yoga are immense. Wear comfortable clothes, Mats are provided. No reservation required; just show up. Operation Recreation
Day and Time: Wednesdays, 6:00 PM
Location: Building 2, Library on Bedford VA's main campus (200 Springs Road, Bedford, MA). This peer-lead recreation group for Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom veterans provides an informal way for veterans to reintegrate back into the community by attend sporting events, museums, movies, and other recreational activates together at low or no-cost. This is a great way for OEF/OIF vets to connect with each other and get connected. Transportation is provided to and from Bedford VA and vets who qualify for travel pay will be able to get reimbursed for their travel through Bedford VA.
