Free Acupuncture in Worcester

Date: Second Wednesday of the month, 5:30–7:30 PM
Location:
Dodge Park Rest Home (101 Randolph Road, Worcester — use the rear entrance). This free community style acupuncture walk-in clinic for veterans and their families may help with sleeping problems, irritability, and general stress relief. The clinic is offered by volunteer, licensed acupuncturists and the Veterans' Acupuncture Care Metrowest (VAC Metrowest). For more information, call 508-890-8899.

Free Acupuncture in Greenfield

Greenfield Community Acupuncture (345 Main St, 2nd floor, Greenfield MA). This free community style acupuncture walk-in clinic for veterans and their families may help with sleeping problems, irritability, and general stress relief. Dial-a-Lawyer

Date: First Wednesday of the Month, 5:30–7:30 PM

617-338-0610. Since March of 1991, the Mass Bar Association has sponsored a monthly Dial-A-Lawyer program that encourages members of the public to call with their legal problems and questions. This program was created in order to assist the people of Massachusetts who have fallen through the cracks of the legal and criminal justice system. The phones tend to be extremely busy during that two hour time period so please keep trying to get through.

Ongoing Wellness Program from There and Back Again

Date: Third Friday of every month, 1:30–3:30 PM
Location:
191 Main Street, Charlestown, MA. There and Back Again offers a free, ongoing wellness program to help combat veterans manage pain and stress, feeling of disconnection, challenging emotions, joint and muscle pain, anxiety and irritability, trouble sleeping, and headaches through Reiki, Reflexology, Acupuncture, and Massage. Kayaking Clinic

Seated Yoga

Chairs and instruction will be provided; please wear loose fitting clothing and bring water to drink. Veterans Yoga—Summer 2016 Series

Date: Mondays—June 20, 27; July 11, 18, 25; August 15, 22, 29; 6–7 PM
Location:
Open Spirit, 39 Edwards Street, Framingham, 01701. Open Spirit prides itself on being a home for hope, health, and harmony. The June yoga series focuses on relaxing into summer with gentle yoga. The July series is for de-stressing and refreshing oneself. The August series will focus on seeking balance for one's life.
