The US Navy Band Concert

The United States Navy Band is performing a free concert at Wellesley High School as part of their 2016 National Tour. Get your free tickets here.

PNH: LGBT Singles, Couples, and Family Retreat

When: Friday, March 11–13, 2016  Where: Grotonwood Camp and Conference Center, 167 Prescott Street, Groton, MA 01450

The Project New Hope retreats are for the veteran, spouse or partner of the veteran and the veteran's child/children. Special guest Kristin Beck, a former Navy SEAL who came out as a trans woman in 2013, will be attending to help "heal the 'socio-religious dogma' of a purely binary gender." The Project New Hope retreats are for the veteran, spouse or partner of the veteran and the veteran's child/children. Special guest Silouan Green, a US Marine who developed and overcame PTSD after a tragic jet crash, will speak about overcoming adversity, faith and trauma, leadership, PTSD, and intentional living.This retreat will use Green's Ladder UPP life skills program.Space is limited; register here.

Veterans Voice Cape Flyer Train to Hyannis

When: Sunday, May 29, 2016, 8 AM  Where: South Station, Atlantic Avenue and Summer Street, Boston, MA 02110

The Cape Flyer Train will be providing free transportation for veterans and their families to attend the Cape Cod "Tribute to the Troops" event in Hyannis. The train will depart from South Station at 8 AM, but will make stops in Braintree, Brockton, Middleboro, and Wareham to pick up veterans and families. The train will arrive in Hyannis at 10:30, and the train will leave Hyannis at 6:30 PM, arriving back in Boston at 8:30. Entertainment and a continental breakfast will be served on the train. Gold Star Tribute train car will be one of the train cars used.
