LGBT Retreat for Military Service Members, Veterans & Families

Focus on awareness and validation about possible mistrust of the military, in addition to creating an environment where folks can be themselves for a weekend that is semi-military, hoping to give enough information so that folks can leave feeling like they have a lot more information about themselves and their families, and where to call or go for help. Some topics include: Combat PTSD, vicarious trauma, religious trauma, invalidation of identity. How these can work together and how it can affect a person or their familiy.
