Massasoit Military, Veteran and Family Members Open House

Massasoit Community College is hosting an open house for military personnel, veterans, and their family members. Open House will include: tour of the Veteran Services Center (VSC); meeting with the VSC staff, admissions counselors, and current students; information about academic programs, education benefits, and financial aid. Guests will also have the opportunity to submit an application, apply for education benefits, and win prizes. Light food and refreshments will be served. RSVP here
The annual Massachusetts veterans music festival is being held at Campanelli Stadium in Brockton on Sunday, July 26th; Lynch Park in Beverly on Saturday, August 1st; Battleship Cove in Fall River on Thursday, August 13th; and at Dennis Days in Cape Cod on Saturday, September 26. The Highland Street Foundation is sponsoring Free Fun Fridays, which enables children and families to get free admission to local museums and attractions throughout the summer. This year there are over 70 organizations participating between Friday, June 26th and Friday, August 28th.

The Wall That Heals is coming to Gloucester July 9-12th. Governor Charlie Baker will speak at the opening ceremony on July 9th, which will kick off the 24-hour access to the memorial. The memorial is a replica of the names on The Wall in Washington D.C., a memorial for fallen Vietnam veterans. Free to the public, limited parking.
