State Veterans' Cemeteries

There are two state veterans' cemeteries in Massachusetts (Agawam and Winchendon) where eligible veterans can be buried at no cost. There will be a nominal fee for the burial of spouses and eligible dependents.

Certain events are held annually at both Agawam and Winchendon Cemeteries.
Wreaths Across America at Massachusetts State Cemeteries

On December 10, 2011, local high school students and volunteers placed over 1,000 wreaths on veterans' graves at the Agawam and Winchendon State Veterans' Cemeteries.
