Scholarships for Military Children Program

The Defense Commissary Agency and the Fisher House Foundation offer national scholarships for children of active duty, reserve/guard, or retired military personnel. Also eligible are the survivor of a deceased member who has a military dependent ID card. Applications are available at your a commissary near you. A minimum of one $1500 scholarship will be awarded at every commissary location where qualified applications are received. More than one scholarship per commissary may be available based on response and funding. The scholarship provides for payment of tuition, books, lab fees and other related expenses.

VVA Mike Nash Scholarship Fund

The Vietnam Veterans of America's (VVA) national scholarship program, the Mike Nash Scholarship Fund, provides financial assistance to: Vietnam era veterans, dependent children, grandchildren, and orphans and widows of deceased Vietnam veterans, for costs associated with undergraduate studies at accredited educational/technical institutions.
