The North American Indian Center of Boston
(NAICOB) provides culturally competent community health services and advocacy to Native American Indians residing within 40 miles of the Center located in Jamaica Plain. Services range from referrals for primary care, assistance in applying for health care and other benefits, diabetes prevention and management, senior wellness, interdisciplinary case management, treatment for alcohol and other addictions, and mental health and social services. NAICOB also houses an education and training program funded by the Workforce Investment Act (WIA), Head Start program, and traditional healing program.
