Honoring Women Veterans

The annual Women Veterans' Appreciation Day event, sponsored by the Women Veterans' Network, takes place at the State House during the week of Veterans' Day. The ceremony includes a presentation of the Deborah Sampson Award.

The Deborah Sampson Award is presented to a Massachusetts resident whose military and community service is extraordinary.
