The Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women was signed into law in 1998. Shortly thereafter the first 19 Commissioners were appointed. The Commission would like to express its appreciation to its retired members who worked diligently on behalf of women and girls in the Commonwealth when they served as Commissioners.
