The Commission office is on the 6th Floor
of the Hurley Building. Monthly Commissioner
meetings are held in Room 307C, on the 3rd Floor of the Hurley Building.
Driving from the West:
Take I-90 East (Mass Pike) to Allston/Cambridge Tolls. Exit at tolls. The
exit forks--stay right toward Cambridge.
Proceed to second light--turn right onto Storrow Drive
(east). Take Storrow
Drive to Government Center
Exit. Continue straight on Cambridge
St. through three sets of lights. Turn left onto
Staniford
St. The Hurley Building
is on the right at 19 Staniford St. Parking is
available on the street, at parking meters, or in the parking garage further
down the street on your left.
Driving from the North:
Take I-93 South to Central Artery or take Route 1 South over the Tobin Bridge to Central Artery. Exit Government
Center. At the bottom
of the ramp you are on a one-way street called New Chardon St. Proceed
through two sets of traffic lights and turn right onto Cambridge St. Turn
right at the next set of lights, this is Staniford St.
The Hurley Building is on the right at 19 Staniford St. Parking is available on the street, at
parking meters, or in the parking garage further down the street on your
left.
Driving from the South:
Take I-93 or Route 1 North. Continue on the Central Artery through Boston and into the new
Liberty Tunnel. When inside the Liberty
Tunnel, Take Exit 26, Storrow Drive. Stay in the
left lane [the right lane merges onto Storrow Drive].
Continuing to stay in the left lane, at the next traffic light proceed around
the hairpin turn to the next light. Take a left at the light and get into the
right lane at the next traffic light, which comes up fast! Proceed through
the light bearing right onto Lomansney Way. (There will
be a parking garage on your left where you can park.) At the next light, take
a right onto Staniford
Street. The Hurley Building
is on the left at 19 Staniford St. Parking is
available on the street, at parking meters, or in the parking garage on your
right.
By Public Transportation: (MBTA Subway)
Take the RED LINE to
Charles MGH. Exit the station toward the hospitals (there will be a sign
above the turnstiles directing you to go to the left to go toward the
hospitals). Cross the footbridge over the road and follow the sidewalk away
from the river, walking up Cambridge
Street. You will pass Buzzy's
Roast Beef restaurant almost immediately. Walk on Cambridge Street for several blocks.
You will see the Old
West Church
on the corner of Staniford Street. Cross Staniford and turn left, walking on the sidewalk on Staniford Street.
You will see the Hurley
Building on your
right--it is a large gray cement building. Enter at 19 Staniford Street.
Take the ORANGE LINE to North Station. Exit the station, cross the Canal Street
immediately in front of you. Walk away from the station on Valenti Way.
Walk past Friend and Portland
Streets. Cross Merrimac Street.
You will see the new Edward Brooke Courthouse, a large white building,
immediately in front of you. Walk along Merrimac Street, passing the Courthouse
and a large gray cement building. At the next intersection--Staniford Street--turn
left. Walk up Staniford Street until you
see the entrance to the Hurley
Building at 19 Staniford
Street.
Take the GREEN LINE to Government Center. Exit the station, City Hall
will be in front of you and Cambridge
Street will be on your left. Walk down Cambridge Street,
with City Hall on your right hand side. Walk past the JFK
Federal Building
on your right, continue walking past Sudbury and New Chardon
Streets. The next street is Staniford. Turn right
and walk down Staniford until you see the entrance
to the Hurley Building at 19 Staniford Street.
Take the BLUE LINE to
Bowdoin. Exit the station and walk to the right along Cambridge Street (away from the Bell Atlantic
Building). Walk past
the Cardinal Cushing Memorial Park
on your right. Cross New Chardon
Street. The next street is Staniford.
Turn right and walk down Staniford until you see
the entrance to the Hurley
Building at 19 Staniford
Street.
