The report offers invaluable county level information including basic demographics and data on: employment and earnings, poverty and self–sufficiency, education, health and wellness, and political representation.

The Handbook for Developing Women’s Commissions was developed to serve as a resource for those wishing to create a Commission for Women. It is also dedicated to increasing the professionalism and effectiveness of already established Commissions for Women. Narrative has been kept to a minimum for ease and accessibility, and includes forms, worksheets and checklists.
