COVID-19 Update Permitting On-Premises Licensees to sell for Off-Premises Consumption + Prohibiting On-Premises Consumption of Alcohol. ABCC Office Temporarily Closed to the Public. Hearings scheduled through April 9th will be rescheduled.

Governor Baker prohibited gatherings of more than 25 people and the on-premises consumption of food or drink. As of April 3rd, On-Premises licensees may sell wine and malt beverages as part of a transaction for the purchase of food. Further information can be found here.

At the direction of Treasurer Goldberg, in order to respond to the impact of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, this Treasury office has been temporarily closed to ensure the safety and well-being of our staff and the public effective Tuesday March 17, 2020 until further notice.

Please note: Although our office is closed, the ABCC Will Continue To Be Operational With Reduced Staffing.

Out of an abundance caution and in response to concerns regarding the coronavirus, the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission (“ABCC”) is CANCELLING ALL HEARINGS through April 9th. 

The hearings scheduled for March 17th, March 24th, March 26th, March 31st, April 2nd, April 7th, and April 9th will be rescheduled to a later date. 

New hearing notices will be sent under separate cover.
