Authorization for Medals Earned

In most cases the National Personnel Records Center (NPRC) does not issue service medals, with requests for the issuance or replacement of military service medals, decorations, & awards directed to the specific branch in which the veteran served. For cases involving Air Force & Army personnel, the NPRC will verify the awards to which a vet is entitled & forward the request with the records verification to the appropriate department. Bereavement Counseling through the VA

Grief counseling assists & supports those experiencing emotional & psychological stress after the death of a loved one.
