Previously, only MassHealth members under age 21 with Standard coverage were entitled to EPSDT services. This change will be reflected in updated regulations, provider manuals, member information, and other relevant documents. MassHealth will distribute documents reflecting this change as soon as possible. Until those publications can be updated and distributed, this provider bulletin serves as notice to providers that MassHealth members under age 21 with CommonHealth coverage are entitled to EPSDT services. Reminder to Verify MassHealth requires providers to use the Recipient Eligibility Verification Eligibility System (REVS) to verify members’ day-to-day eligibility status, coverage type, managed care status, restrictions, and other insurance information. The data in REVS provide you with the most up-to-date eligibility information at the time of service.
