Reporting Time for Contractors-Retirees, No Work Schedule

Adjusting Submitted Time for the Week Including Prior Pay Period Adjustments

 

If needed, you can adjust your previously submitted work hours for the current week and up to 15 days in the past.  Time adjusted in the previous pay period is considered a prior pay period adjustment.   

 

To adjust submitted time, click in the text box for the day you wish to adjust.  In this scenario, lets assume you have received approval from your manager to leave one hour early on Friday.  

 

To adjust submitted work hours, click the text box associated with Friday.

Delete the 7.5 hours previously submitted and enter 6.5 hours.

  

Once you have entered your adjusted hours, click the Submit button.

  

Below the Submit Confirmation page is the Employee Certification message.  The message states I certify that the information entered is accurate and complete.

 

Click the OK button to certify you reviewed and submitted your time.  This takes you back to the Timesheet page.

 

To make a prior pay period adjustment, click on the Previous Week link to navigate up to 15 days in the past.  

 

Lets assume that you forgot to record your hours accurately for Monday 4/16 and Tuesday 4/17.  On Monday 4/16, your manager approved you to leave one hour early and allowed you to makeup the missing hour on Tuesday 4/17.

 

Click on the link for Previous Week until you arrive at the week that includes Monday 4/16 and Tuesday 4/17.

 

Click in the text box for Monday 4/16.  Delete 7.5 hours and enter 6.5 hours.  

 

Next, click in the text box for Tuesday 4/17.  Delete 7.5 hours and enter 8.5 hours.  

Once you have entered your adjusted hours, click the Submit button.  

 

Click the OK button to certify you reviewed and submitted your time.  This takes you back to the Timesheet page.

 

If you need to adjust time 15 days or more in the past, contact the MassHR Employee Services Center (ESC). If you are in a department that does not use ESC, please contact your agency Human Resources or Payroll department.
