 RE: Requirements for Functional-Level Report 

 

 



Change MassHealth is making a change to its psychiatric day treatment (PDT) 

 program procedures. Currently, providers submit a monthly functional- 
level report to MassHealth. Effective for dates of service on or after 
August 1, 2008, PDT program providers are no longer required to submit 
this report. However, in accordance with the PDT program regulations at 
130 CMR 417.411 and 417.437, providers must continue to complete the 
documentation for monthly functional-level assessments and maintain this 
documentation onsite. 

 

 

Reminder PDT program providers are reminded that the administrative and billing 
regulations at 130 CMR 450.205 require providers to fully disclose any 
documentation that MassHealth may request.
