Fees: $3 per person, $12 for families, $25 for groups.

This program is for people with disabilities, along with their families, caregivers, and friends.

Take a gentle hike with Stavros Outdoor Access. Teamwork and assistive equipment, such as the Terra Trek mountain wheelchair, GRIT Freedom Chair, and all-terrain walkers unite people of all abilities! Bring a lunch and enjoy activities like scavenger hunts, nature activities, and letterboxing. Learn about the history of Henry David Thoreau and walk along the shores of Walden Pond. Sighted guides are available upon request. Ask about limited transportation.

You will need to pre-register by calling or texting (413) 259-0009 or emailing outdooraccessma@gmail.com. You will also need to meet our essential eligibility criteria for hiking and fill out a release form. Please bring your own food and drink, and come prepared for the weather.
