Overview of Call/Volunteer Recruit Firefighter Class #71 Graduation
State Fire Marshal Peter J. Ostroskey and Massachusetts Firefighting Academy Director David C. Evans will present certificates of completion to members of the Call/Volunteer Recruit Firefighter Training Class #71 on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Department of Fire Services, One State Road, Stow, MA.
Graduates from 17 Fire Departments
The graduates represent the 17 fire departments of: Ashburnham, Berlin, Bolton, Boylston, Carlisle, Groton, Hopedale, Lincoln, Lunenburg, Northborough, Pepperell, Princeton, Sherborn, Shrewsbury, Tyngsborough, Uxbridge and Webster.
The Call/Volunteer Recruit Firefighter Training program is unique in that it delivers a standard recruit training curriculum, meeting national standards, on nights and weekends to accommodate the schedule of firefighters in rural areas.
Invited guests include: representatives of the Massachusetts Fire Training Council, city and town officials, family members of recruits, and chiefs of department.
