Overview   of Chapter 30B Exemptions and Exceptions - OIG Academy Elective

Fees: $200

This 1-day class reviews the exemptions and exceptions contained in Chapter 30B and suggests best practices for public officials to use when acquiring exempt supplies or services.

The premise for this class is that procurement law exemptions do not negate the need to apply sound business practices, industry standards and prudence to purchasing activity. Procurement officials must still strive to obtain what the jurisdiction needs at the best value possible despite any exemptions or exceptions to Chapter 30B.

Class Time:

8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
