LGBTQ+, COVID & Economic Impacts | 2021 EqualPayMA Roundtables

The LGBTQ+ community has historically experienced high rates of homelessness, unemployment, and a greater risk of living below the poverty line. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, those challenges have only been exacerbated. This session will cover the economic impacts of COVID-19 on the LGBTQ+ community as it relates to employment and access to housing; finally, we will discuss policies, organizations and programs that help improve economic security and wellness for LGBTQ+ individuals and their families.
