Online Safety - Monson, MA

The Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation (OCABR) will co-host a public event in collaboration with the Better Business Bureau Serving Eastern MA, ME, RI & VT on Thursday, October 27th at 1pm at the Monson Council on Aging.  

OCABR and the BBB will lead a discussion about online safety that will include information about protecting yourself while accessing the internet on your smart device, social media, and online banking.  The presentation will also contain details about phishing, general protection from scams, and identity theft.  This event furthers the OCABR’s initiative to educate and inform seniors on important consumer protection topics.
