Overview of Proposed Regulations for Developing a Home Care Worker Registry
The Executive Office of Elder Affairs (EOEA) is mandated under Section 139 of the Acts of 2017 to develop a Home Care Worker Registry consisting of employees of Home Care Worker Agencies employed to fulfill the service requirements of EOEA’s Home Care Program. The proposed regulations comply with all requirements of Section 139, including the development of a process by which Home Care Worker Agencies submit required information to EOEA, the development of a Home Care Worker registry, the creation of an exemption process, and a process by which eligible parties may access the information contained within the registry.
