Public Hearing on Proposed Changes to 521 CMR - Hyannis

A public hearing is being held to solicit comment from the public on the proposed changes to 521 CMR.  This will be the first major revision to the code since 1996, and includes a full reordering of the code, updating of all drawings, and a significant expansion of the Board's rules on recreational facilities.  Additional information on the proposed changes including a full copy of the proposed new edition can be found here.

As this hearing is specific to the proposed new edition, we kindly ask that participants review the proposed regulations in advance.  We will be accepting written as well as verbal comments at the meeting.  In order to ensure that everyone who wants to has a chance to speak, we ask that you keep your verbal comments succinct as we will accept written comments of any length.  Written comments will be accepted at the meeting, but they can also be submitted via mail or email prior to June 1, 2018.

Out of respect for all who will be giving comments we ask that you silence all mobile devices during the hearing.
