Public Meeting Notice  Public Information Meeting on the Worcester Kelley Square Improvement Project

You are invited to join MassDOT at a public information meeting on the Kelley Square Improvement Project. At this meeting, the project team will present an update on design concepts, based on public input received from previous workshops, and answer questions.

Parking Information: Parking is available in Worcester Academy Lot B, located at 118-120 Providence Street on the opposite side of Marion Avenue. Shuttle buses will be available to bring attendees from the lot to the performance center.

This meeting is accessible to people with disabilities and those with limited English proficiency. Accessibility accommodations and language services will be provided free of charge, upon request, as available. Kelley Square poses a number of safety risks for pedestrians, bicyclists, and motor vehicles. There were 403 reported crashes between January 2013 and December 2016, including 1 fatality. Twenty-one of these crashes involved pedestrians and five involved bicyclists. This project will address the safety and operational deficiencies faced by all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists, while also supporting the local businesses and residents who call Kelley Square their home.
