NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 7, § 55(c) and M.G.L. c. 30A, the Office of the State Auditor will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the McCormack Building, One Ashburton Place, 21st Floor, Conference Room 3, Boston, MA 02108 relative to the adoption of:
965 CMR 5.00 Privatization Contracts
The proposed regulations will govern the process that agencies and applicable authorities must follow when seeking to contract for services, which are substantially similar to and in lieu of, services which regular state or authority employees presently perform. The proposed regulatio will govern privatization of state services pursuant to M.G.L. c. 7, §§ 52 through 55.
The Office of the State Auditor will provide interested parties with an opportunity to present comments orally or in writing at the hearing. Individuals may also provide written comments through mail or e-mail in advance of the hearing date or during the comment period after the ns hearing. The comment period will close at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017. Individuals may e-mail comments to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that comments which the Office of the State Auditor receives may be considered public records.
