Overview of State House Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Open House
Governor Charlie Baker and First Lady Lauren Baker will welcome members of the public to the annual State House Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Open House on Tuesday, December 5th from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Guests will also be able to enjoy holiday carols, a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas by First Lady Baker and a special visit from Santa Claus.

6:00 PM – 7:30 PM ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas & Santa Claus - Grand Staircase
Massachusetts farms and food businesses produce many agricultural, horticultural and value-added products typically enjoyed during the holiday season such as Christmas trees, poinsettias, maple products, wines and cheeses, cranberries, turkey, seasonal vegetables and wool items. To showcase some of these products the agricultural vendors and Massachusetts food businesses in attendance this year will include Smith’s Country Cheese, Appleton Farms, Boston Honey Company, Koffee Kup Bakery, Hood Dairy and Working Opportunities for Women.

** NOTE: All guests will enter through the security checkpoint at the State House’s General Hooker entrance where bags will be searched. Attendees are encouraged to limit or avoid bags in order to limit entry wait times.**
